Voice for Animals Japan is a grassroots animal rights advocacy initiative dedicated to promoting animal welfare, ethical awareness, and social change in Japan.

Through digital activism, public petitions, legislative appeals, sanctuary support, and community-based actions, we aim to create a society where animals are treated with dignity, compassion, and justice.

What We Do

1. Digital Activism (Social Media Awareness)

We raise awareness about animal rights and ethical issues through sustained social media advocacy.

Our online community includes:

• 14,000+ followers on Instagram

• 12,000+ followers on X (Twitter)

• 4,275 followers on Facebook

This digital reach allows us to engage tens of thousands of people across Japan in discussions about animal welfare and ethical responsibility.

2. Public Petitions

We have organized 7 public petitions calling for improved animal welfare standards and policy reforms.

These petitions amplify the voices of citizens who seek meaningful change.

3. Legislative Appeals

We have submitted 2 formal legislative petitions to local assemblies, urging policymakers to address animal welfare issues and strengthen protections for animals.

4. Sanctuary Support

We support animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations through awareness campaigns, fundraising assistance, and public education.

Our aim is to strengthen the network of safe spaces for animals in need.

5. Postcard Action Campaigns

We have conducted 30 postcard action campaigns, encouraging citizens to send messages directly to policymakers to advocate for animal welfare improvements.

We participate in animal rights marches, joining other activists and organizations to raise public awareness and strengthen community solidarity.
